BATON ROUGE — A credit company is suing a Baton Rogue customer, alleging false representations and actual fraud.
Tower Credit Inc. filed a lawsuit March 16, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Louisiana against Tomica Marie Davis of Baton Rogue, alleging she submitted a falsely written credit application documents.
According to the complaint, Tower Credit suffered financial losses because Davis failed to disclose debts she owed to Easy Money, National Cash Advance and Speedy Cash. She also indicated that she owed no pay day loans,the suit says.
Tower Credit seeks trial by jury and a ruling declaring Davis' debt is not dischargeable, attorney fees, costs and any further relief the court deems proper. It is represented by attorney Richard D. Bankston of Richard Bankston Attorney at Law Inc. in Baton Rouge.
