Man files suit against business partners

GRETNA – A man is seeking damages alleging his former business partners committed fraud.

Allen J. Schick, on behalf of Grizzly Management Group LLC, filed a suit against Ryan Vidal, Cody Adams, Jean Picou, Quality Chemical Co. LLC, Poseidon Energy Services LLC, Poseidon Capital LLC and Neptune Energy Services LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 4.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and Vidal were involved in the formation of a business, however, the suit states that as time unfolded, the defendants began to conduct Ponzi-like schemes, disregarding the legitimacy of the company and causing debt to be accumulated.

During the process, the suit states that Schick was not kept informed about what was being executed in regards to the company.

The defendants are accused of fraud, conversion, intentional and negligent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, detrimental reliance and unfair trade practices.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. He is represented by Michael S. Ricci, Jonathan L. Schultis and Mervatt Eljaouhari of Ricci Partners in New Orleans. The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
