GRETNA – A Lafourche Parish individual is seeking damages, claiming breach of contract.
Ngan Van Nguyen filed a suit against Robert Torrence in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 31.
According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into a contract on Feb. 27, in which the defendant allegedly agreed to buy a Marrerro property from the plaintiff. Despite the plaintiff carrying out the necessary steps, the defendant refused to pay for the property that was agreed upon in the contract.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract through failing to buy the property that was previously agreed upon.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Connie P Trieu of Trieu Law in Grenta. The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
