Delgado Community College claims a student failed to pay for classes

NEW ORLEANS – Delgado Community College has filed suit against a student, seeking alleged damages on an open account.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit against Enyatta Gale in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on July 27.

According to the claim, the defendant was admitted as a student to Delgado Community College in the spring of 2013, where she accumulated a balance of more than $1,400. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay for the sum due.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Rokeya J. Morris.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.

The Orleans Parish Civil District court Case number 16-7488.
