Bank of America claims a customer owes more than $13,000

GRETNA – Bank of America has filed suit against an account holder, seeking damages for more than $13,000 in debt. 

Bank of America filed the suit against Joan L. Thibodeaux in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 4.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit agreement to the defendant. The suit states that the plaintiff has yet to be paid more than $13,000 on the outstanding debt incurred by the defendant.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
