120 West Partners seeks damages for alleged breach of promissory note

GRETNA – A contracting company is seeking damages for breach of contract from a Jefferson Parish resident.

120 West Partners LLC filed a suit against Jo Ann Beaty, also known as Jo Ann L. Fossier, in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 30.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and Patterson Structural Moving and Shoring entered into a shoring contract on March 30, 2011. The suit states that the defendant was the executor of a promissory note, but that since the issuing of the note, the defendant has failed to act on it. The suit states that the rights, title and interest to the debt was transferred from Patterson to the plaintiff in 2013.

The defendant is accused of breach of promissory note through failing to make payments as promised.

The plaintiff is seeking $30,000 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Blake E. Oakes of the Oakes Law Firm in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
