Jefferson Parish woman alleges man owes more than $13,000

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages after she was allegedly not paid back for money that she lent to an individual.

Mary H. Campbell filed a suit against Ulysesse Odoms in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 29.

According to the claim, the plaintiff loaned the defendant a specific amount of money that the defendant was to pay back after he received a check from a person injury suit. The suit states that the plaintiff has not received the money bac.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay the plaintiff back in full for the money lent.

The plaintiff is seeking $13, 731.27 in damages. She is represented by Max M. Chotto of Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
