The Inflatable Zoo Inc. alleges contractor breached agreement, failed to return equipment

GRETNA – A South Carolina man allegedly breached a contract and failed to return equipment.

The Inflatable Zoo Inc., doing business as Space Walk, filed a suit against Rick McElveen in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the parties entered into an agreement in January in which the defendant agreed to rent the plaintiff's equipment and that the defendant would be an independent contractor. The suit states that the defendant failed to take the proper actions in order to fulfill the agreement and has not returned to the equipment.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. It is represented by Amanda D. Hogue and Stephen K. Conroy of Conroy Law Firm in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
