Walker alleges she was injured when attacked by unleashed dog

NEW ORLEANS – A woman was allegedly attacked by an unleashed dog in New Orleans.

Irene G. Suazo filed a suit against Karl J. Hill, Carol Hill and Geovera Specialty Insurance Co. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 9.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was walking on Sept. 11, 2015, on the property of Cleveland Street near South Dupre Street when the incident occurred. The suit states that the plaintiff was attacked by an unleashed dog, which belonged to the defendants, and caused her injury.

The defendants are accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Arthur. O. Schott III of Riguer Silva in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
