American Express Centurion Bank claims borrower owes more than $40,000

GRETNA – American Express Centurion Bank is seeking more than $40,000 it claims is owed on a credit card account.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit against Linda Williams in the 24th Judicial District Court on Feb. 8.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant accumulated more than $40,000 on the card and has failed to make payments on her open account.

The defendant is accused of not paying the plaintiff on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking $40,348.95 plus costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
