Freight Forwarders alleged to owe more than $27,000 for goods

GRETNA – An Arkansas corporation is seeking damages for more than $27,000 from a Jefferson Parish company.

ABF Logistics Inc. filed a suit against Freight Forwarders Worldwide Logistics Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the defendant is indebted to the plaintiff for more than $27,000 for goods it delivered.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay the plaintiff for the balance owed.

The plaintiff is seeking $27,205.06 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph E. Fick Jr. of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
