NEW ORLEANS – An individual is being sued for failure to pay off a student loan.
The National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2007-4 filed a suit against Mamie Franklin in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 2.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant an account in which the defendant came to owe more than $26,000. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make timely payments on the open account.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by J. Marron Monsieur, Gregory M. Eaton and Sean McAllister.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
