A man is seeking damages, claiming that a car accident was due to another's negligence

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages in a car accident.

William H. Bernard filed a suit against USAA Insurance Agency Inc. and David Aaron Logue in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Aug. 1.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was caused personal injury on Jan. 26 when he was driving his vehicle. The suit states that the plaintiff's car was struck by the defendant.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to maintain control of the vehicle and failure to keep an eye out for other cars.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by John M. Robin.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 16-7653.
