Patron claims condition of floor in Raising Cane's restaurant caused fall

NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she slipped and fell at a restaurant.

Danna Connerly-Wilson filed a suit against Raising Cane's Restaurants LLC and XYZ insurance company in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 14.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall while at the defendant's property at 3235 S. Carrolton Ave. on Sept. 24, 2015, because of the condition of the floor. She alleges she suffered severe and debilitating injuries.

Raising Cane's Restaurants LLC is accused of negligence through failing to maintain the premises.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony D. Irpino and Carlos A. Ramirez of Irpino, Avin & Hawkins Law in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
