Orleans Regional Security Institute Inc. alleged to owe on line of credit

GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish company is accused of not paying back a line of credit.

Capital One National Association, as successor to Hibernia National Bank, filed a suit against Orleans Regional Security Institute Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 1.

According to the claim, the plaintiff's predecessor issued a line of credit to the defendant who failed to pay it back in a timely manner.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $50,220.06 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
