GRETNA – A Tennessee couple claims that a property purchased contained defects that were not disclosed before the sale.
Brandon Page and Stephanie Page filed a suit against Bradley T. Dunn and Crystal Alley Dunn in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.
According to the claim, the plaintiffs purchased a Metairie property from the defendants in May. Following their move into the defendants' former property, the plaintiffs claim they found multiple defects to the residence. The plaintiffs claim they demanded a rescission of the sale and interest, but the defendants have failed to satisfy the demands.
The defendants are accused intentionally concealing defects in the property.
The plaintiffs are seeking an unspecified amount in damages. They are represented by Wiley J. Beevers, Shayna Beevers Morvant and Steven M. Mauterer of Beevers & Beevers in Gretna.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
