Capital One Bank alleges more than $3,000 is owed on credit card

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $3,000 from a Jefferson Parish woman.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Laura S. Berry in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 7.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant which she then failed to pay off.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $3,604.40 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
