Tim Clark Construction claims it wasn't paid for shoring contract

NEW ORLEANS – A construction company is seeking damages for an alleged breach promissory note.

Tim Clark Construction LLC filed a suit against Aungeleaka Handy, also known as Aungeleaka C. Lewis, in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Nov. 9.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into a shoring contract in 2011. The suit states that the defendant failed to deliver the funds associated with the promissory note that was issued.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking $30,000 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Blake E. Oakes of the Oakes Law Firm in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
