Man alleges cab driver's negligence caused collision

GRETNA – An individual alleges he was injured in a collision with a cab.

Quinn Camp filed a suit against James Manson, Star Cabs Inc. and American Service Insurance Co. Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 29.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was operating his car on Nov. 30, 2015, when Mason, driving a Star Cabs vehicle, collided with the plaintiff's car at the intersection near U.S. 61 in Metairie.

Mason is accused of negligence in the control of a motor vehicle and reckless driving.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Pierre F. Gaudin of Gretna

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
