Jackson Brewery Millhouse alleges Zuppardo Services failed to pay rent

NEW ORLEANS – A company is seeking damages after a tenant allegedly failed to vacate.

Jackson Brewery Millhouse LLC filed a suit against Zuppardo Services LLC, formerly known as Gumbo Pot LLC, and Mike P. Zuppardo in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Dec. 1.

According to the claim, the plaintiff leased a property which was later sublet to the defendants. The plaintiff alleges the defendants have defaulted on their rental payments. The suit states that the defendants were given notice of the requirement to vacate the premises in November 2016, but the defendant has failed to comply. The plaintiff seeks to evict the defendants.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. It is represented by Thomas J. Lutkewitte and Conor T. Lutkewitte of Favret, Demarest, Russo, Lutkewitte and Schaumburg in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
