Puma alleges customers have failed to pay more than $17,000

NEW ORLEANS – Puma is suing an Orleans Parish customer, alleging failure to pay more than $17,000.

Puma North America Inc filed a suit Nov. 22 against Amir 1 Athletic LLC, formerly known as TAF Amir Athletic LLC and Hafeth Jabbar in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account. 

According to the claim, Puma sold goods to Amir 1 Athletic for $17,329.19 worth of value. The suit states the defendant has failed to make payment on the open account.

Puma North America seeks all costs due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys Thomas J. Lutkewitte and Conor T. Lutkewitte of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Regina Bartholomew Woods.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 16-11537.
