TooLoose negligent in keeping property safe, causing woman's broken ankle, suit alleges

NEW ORLEANS – A woman from the United Kingdom is suing New Orleans-based TooLoose LLC, citing negligence.

Tracey Millar filed a suit against TooLoose in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was leasing a property of the defendant's located at 910 Toulouse St. The suit states that one of the doors in the complex did not work, and when the plaintiff attempted to exit the building, she was caused to slip and fall out of the door, breaking her ankle.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to take the appropriate actions and overall negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Brian D. Katz and Charles M. King of Herman, Herman & Katz LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 16-12246.
