Capital One alleges credit card customer owes more than $4,000

GRETNA – Capital One is suing a credit card customer, alleging he owes more than $4,000 in charges.

Capital One Bank filed a lawsuit Dec. 20 against Allan J. Kagan in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open credit card account.

According to the claim, Capital One issued a credit card to Kagan, who used the card for $4.780,78 in purchases. The suit states the balance was never paid off.

Capital One Bank seeks the $4,780,78 plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys from Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
