Bank alleges customer breached retail installment contract

GRETNA – A bank is suing a customer, alleging failure to pay more than $18,000 to settle a contract.

Ally Bank filed a suit Dec. 27 against Isabel S. Green in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to make required monthly payments.

According to the claim, Ally Bank issued a retail installment contract to Green July 29, 2013. The defendant, the suit says, was obligated and had agreed to pay $33,832.89 in a number of monthly installments.

The lawsuit states, however, Green failed to make all of the payments in a timely manner, resulting in $18,575.97 in late charges and overdue payments.

All Banks seeks the $18,575.97, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys Arthur S. Mann III, Earl F. Sundmaker III and Gregory J. Walsh of The Sundmaker Firm LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
