Discover Bank alleges credit card customer owes more than $11,000

GRETNA – Discover Bank is suing a credit card customer, alleging he owes more than $11,000.

Discover Bank filed a lawsuit Dec. 14 against Patrick T. Cassidy in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account and failure to pay.

According to the claim, Discover Bank issued a credit card to Cassidy who has accumulated $11,805.58 in charges and failed to pay off the balance.

Discover Bank seeks the $11,805.58, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
