Jason Ray Inc. alleged to owe more than $70,000 to TeLe's Welding

NEW ORLEANS – A Plaquemines Parish man alleges he is owed for work he performed on a vessel.

LeRoy Meaux, doing business as TeLe’s Welding, filed a complaint on Dec. 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Jason Ray Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that plaintiff provided services, materials, and/or labor unto defendant's M/V Jason Ray on an open account contract. To date, the balance account of $74,880 allegedly remains due and payable. The plaintiff holds Jason Ray Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make timely payments.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in its favor in the full sum of $74,880, plus interest, attorneys’ fees, costs, charges and expenses of these proceedings, and for all other equitable relief.
