GRETNA – A bank and trust company is seeking nearly $100,000 it alleges was never paid back.
Deutsche Bank National Trust Company, as trustee for Ameriquest Mortgage Securities Inc, asset-backed pass-through certificates, series 2002-2 filed a lawsuit against Karen Guillie Still and Curtis Anthony Still Jan. 3 in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging breach of promissory note.
According to the claim, Deutsche Bank is the owner and holder for a real estate mortgage note issued by the defendant. The suit states that the defendants owe $95,976.58. The defendants allegedly filed for bankruptcy but their plea was not honored by the court.
Deutsche Bank National Trust seeks unpaid fees of $95,976.58 plus interest, attorney fees, court costs. It is represented by attorneys Daniel A. Reed, Lawrence R. Anderson Jr., Anthony J. Rosso Jr., Allison N. Beasley of Seale, Smith Zuber & Barnette LLP in Baton Rouge.
