CitiMorgage alleges customer owes more than $150,000 from promissory note

GRETNA – CitiMortgage is suing a customer, alleging she owes more than $150,000 from a promissory note.

CitiMortgage Inc filed a lawsuit suit against Darnella Thornton Williams Jan. 3 in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging breach of promissory note.

According to the claim, CitiMortgage is the owner and holder of a promissory note that was taken out by Williams. The suit states Williams owes $157,391.79, and has failed to make timely payment installations as previously agreed.

CitiMortgage seeks the $157,391.79, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Rader Jackson of Jackson & McPherson LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767845.
