Bank, loan trust allege customer failed to pay more than $110,000

NEW ORLEANS – A bank and a trust company is suing a customer, alleging he owes more than $110,000.

Deutsche Bank National Trust Company, as trustee for Soundview Home Loan Trust 2007-1 Asset-Backed Certificates Series 2007-1, filed a lawsuit Dec. 29 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Damieon McGee, alleging failure to pay the balance of a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note for $119,995. The amount was to be paid off in installments by McGee, the suit states, but he has an unpaid balance of $111,135.26, plus interest.

Deutsche Bank National Trust and Soundview Home Loan seek all money owed, reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. They are represented by attorney Corey J. Giroir of The Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock Jr. in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
