Couple blames health center for wife's injuries

NEW ORLEANS – A couple is suing a New Orleans health center, alleging its negligence caused the wife to fall and suffer injuries.

Rosalinda Taulli and Colin Taulli filed a lawsuit Jan. 13 against Ochsner Health System and Ochsner Health Foundation LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Rosalinda Tauli was a guest at Ochsner, 1514 Jefferson Highway, New Orleans, on Jan. 14, 2016. The suit Taulli was caused to slip and fall on a wet substance in the health center's cafeteria and was injured.

The defendant is accused of failing to maintain the property in a safe manner, failing to warn of the danger and overall negligence.

The Taullis seek all monetary damages up to $50,000, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Pierre F. Gaudin of Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
