Donjon Shipbuiding and Repair alleged to have not paid Delta Coatings for work

NEW ORLEANS – A New Jersey business alleges it is owed more than $1 million for its services to a Louisiana company.

Delta Coatings LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Donjon Shipbuiding and Repair LLC alleging that the shipbuilder failed to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it provided pressure washing and/or painting services for the defendant. The plaintiff alleges its obligations were performed in a proper workmen-like and timely manner. It alleges the balance amount of $1,274,790.30 remains due and owing.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for the true and full amount of all damages but not limited to $1,274,790.30, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees, costs and for any further general and equitable relief. It is represented by Craig S. Watson in Baton Rouge.
