JPMorgan Chase alleges customer failed to pay off mortgage note

GRETNA – JPMorgan Chase Bank is suing a mortgage customer, alleging she owes than $112,000.

JPMorgan Chase Bank NA filed a suit Jan. 27 against Katie M. Panepinto of Jefferson Parish in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due on a mortgage.

According to the claim, JPMorgan Chase is the holder of a real estate mortgage note that was executed by Panepinto. The suit states the defendant has failed to make the necessary payments on the note and is still indebted to JPMorgan Chase for $112,627.94, plus interest.

JPMorgan Chase Bank seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys Daniel A. Reed, Lawrence R. Anderson Jr., Anthony J. Russo Jr. and Allison N. Beasley of Seale, Smith, Zuber & Barnette LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison, Jr.

24th Judicial District Court Case number 768531.
