First NBC Bank alleges Orleans Parish man failed to pay credit card

NEW ORLEANS – A bank in Orleans Parish is seeking more than $22,000.

First NBC Bank filed a lawsuit Jan. 20 against Robert Palacios in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account for a credit card.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant who agreed to pay the balance of the card within a period of the statement. The suit states that the defendant has failed to do so and now owes the plaintiff $22,379.41 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jeffrey K. Clement Jr. of First NBC Bank in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
