Discover Bank alleges credit card customer owes more than $3,600

GRETNA – Discover Bank is suing a credit card customer, alleging she owes more than $3,600.

Discover Bank filed a suit Feb. 16 against Sandra L. Prather in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, Discover Bank issued a credit card Prather that was used for $3,675.49 in charges. The balance has yet to be paid off, the suit says.

Discover Bank seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
