Bank alleges promissory note customer owes more than $127,000

GRETNA – A bank is suing promissory note customers, alleging they owe more than $127,000.

U.S. Bank National Association, as trustee for Residential Asset Securities Corporation, Home Equity Mortgage Asset-Backed-Pass-Through certificates, series 2006-KS4, filed a suit Feb. 22 against Ebert Joachin and Mariette Derosier in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failing to pay sums due.

According to the claim, U.S. Bank is the holder of a promissory note for the original sum of $161,010. The suit states beginning in 2006, Joachin and Derosier were to make regular payments on the balance, but failed to keep up with the payments and still are indebted to the plaintiff for $127,102.16.

U.S. Bank seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Corey J. Giroir of The Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock Jr. in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
