Wells Fargo Bank alleges promissory note customer owes nearly $56,000

GRETNA – Wells Fargo is suing a promissory note customer, alleging failure to pay nearly $56,000.

Wells Fargo Bank NA filed a suit Feb. 24 against Melanie Outes in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, Wells Fargo is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $55,831.71. The suit states Outes has failed to pay off the balance of the note and still owes the full balance, plus interest and attorney fees.

Wells Fargo seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Jason R. Smith of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
