Linen service company alleges restaurant owes more than $25,000

GRETNA – A linen service company is suing a restaurant, alleging an unpaid balance of more than $25,000.

Loop Linen Service Inc. filed a suit Feb. 27 against Fratelli's Italian Grille Steak and Seafood LLC and Matt Nezaj, in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account and breach of contract.

According to the claim, Nezaj, individually and on behalf of Fratelli's, entered into a five-year contract to pay for services provided by Loop Linen. The suit states the defendants breached the contract through failing to pay $25,452.71 of what is owed.

Loop Linen Service seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Michael S. Futrell of Connick and Connick LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
