Odyssea Marine Inc. seeks payment for services provided under charter agreements

NEW ORLEANS – A Lafourche Parish corporation claims it is owed more than $1 million for services it provided.

Odyssea Marine Inc. filed a complaint on March 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against L/B Robert, L/B Jill, Montco Offshore Inc. and Montco Oilfield Contractors alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2015 and 2016, the plaintiff and Montco entered into charter agreements. The plaintiff alleges it provided essential services necessary to the operation of the defendants' liftboats and that s of the filing of this complaint, the total amount of $1,101,699.58 remains unpaid. The plaintiff holds L/B Robert, L/B Jill, Montco Offshore Inc. and Montco Oilfield Contractors responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make payments for the said amounts due.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in the total amount of $1,101,699.58, plus interest and costs of this action and such further and different relief. It is represented by Charles A. Cerise Jr. and L. Cole Callihan of Adams and Reese LLP in New Orleans.
