Lawsuit calls on construction firm to pay up

NEW ORLEANS – A construction company is being sued for more than $35,000.

King Company Limited Partnership filed a lawsuit Feb. 23 against Favalora Constructors Inc. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking judgment against the defendant for two different actions: one for the total of $34,022.26 and the other of $3,500.

The defendant is accused of improper action and sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Mark Frilot and Nicholas Pitre of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz P.C. in Mandeville.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern Reese.
