Capital One alleges credit card customer owes nearly $1,800

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is suing a credit card customer, alleging he owes nearly $1,800.  

Capital One Bank (USA) NA filed a suit March 10 against Joseph H. Gullo in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, Capital One issued a credit card to Gullo who used it to accumulated a balance of $1,786.12. The suit says the plaintiff has yet to receive payment from the defendant.

Capital One Bank seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
