$12,000 claim filed against cruise line

GRETNA – A beverage company is seeking more than $12,000 in an open account from a cruise line.

Tortorice & Brady Inc, doing business as Tea and Coffee America, filed a suit March 15 against Great Northern and Southern Navigation Co. LLC, which does business as French America Line, in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging open account.

According to the claim, the defendant accumulated a balance owing to the plaintiff of $12,359.59 and has failed to pay that balance off.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Marc Mandich and Charles Mouton of Mahtook & LaFleur in Lafayette.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen Grefer.
