GRETNA – Whitney Bank of Mississippi is seeking collection of sums due on a contract for the purchase of a used Mercedes.
Whitney Bank filed a suit March 15 against Thien Bui in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an unpaid debt.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note which the defendant executed. The balance owing is $18,558,64 plus interest accrued.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Clay Legros of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
