GRETNA – A company is seeking damages for an open account.
LVNV Funding LLC filed a suit March 23 against Pepper Dupont of Marrero in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a bankcard to the defendant that was used to make charges for the total of $1,596.83. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance.
The defendant is accused of open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
