Pennsylvania man claims HRI Investments was negligent after a wall fell on him

NEW ORLEANS – A man claims that he was injured when a wall fell on him.

Joshua Krajnak filed a lawsuit against HRI Investments LLC and Latter & Blum Inc., in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is a resident of Pennsylvania. The suit states that the plaintiff was at 1500 Basin St., Orleans Parish on Aug. 20 when the incident took place. The suit states that the plaintiff stopped to lean against a wall of a building, which then collapsed on top of him.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to warn of the danger of the wall and its structural compromise, failing to clearly mark that the wall was makeshift and overall acts of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Craig A. Gentry of Morris Bart LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
