LVNV Funding alleges Terrytown resident owes money on retail account

GRETNA – A debt collector is seeking damages for an open account.

LVNV Funding LLC filed a suit April 4 against Valerie A. Young of Terrytown in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, CIT Bank issued the defendant an account, which was used to accumulate $1,096.89 in charges. The defendant has failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
