Bank of America alleges Jefferson Parish resident owes over $2,000 on account

GRETNA – Bank of America N.A. is seeking damages for an open account.

Bank of America filed a suit April 3 against James A. Armit Jr. of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant used the account to accumulate $2,071.94, which he owes to the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of having an open account with the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Remy F. Symons and Sarena Y. Gaylor of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770660.
