Lake Area Medical Center claims Gretna resident owes balance of over $1,600

GRETNA – A medical center is seeking payment on an open account.

Lake Area Medical Center, formerly known as Women and Children's Hospital, filed a suit April 11 against Brenda Pitre of Gretna in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of an open account which occurred after the plaintiff supplied goods/services to the defendant. The defendant is indebted for the balance of $1,658.85.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by W. Simmons Sandoz of Sandoz Law Offices in Opelousas.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770903.
