Produce company alleges Edible Arrangements owes over $17,000

NEW ORLEANS – A produce company is suing Edible Arrangements for over $17,000.

Louisiana Fresh Fruits and Vegetables LLC, doing business as Louisiana Fresh Produce, filed a lawsuit April 10 against The Van Buren Group LLC, doing business as Edible Arrangements, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff sold produce to the defendant, which was valued at $17,927.02. The suit states that there is still a balance on the account and that the plaintiff is seeking payment of the unpaid balance.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Thomas J. Lutkewitte and Conor T. Lutkewitte of Favret, Demarest, Russo, Lutkewitte & Schaumberg, A Professional Law Corporation in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
