Renaissance RX allegedly failed to pay employee the wages she had earned

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for earned wages.

Tara Gamble filed a suit May 3 against New Orleans-based UTC Laboratories LLC, doing business as Renaissance RX, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was employed by the defendant from November 2014 through February 2015 as an account manager. However, for a portion of her employment, the plaintiff was paid on commission. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay the plaintiff the full amount of the wages that she had earned. The suit does not specify the amount owed, but the plaintiff's full sums due were allegedly withheld from her.

The defendant is accused of refusing to pay the plaintiff what was owed and breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Patricia A. Adams in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
