NEW ORLEANS – A credit union is seeking damages for sums due.
ASI Federal Credit Union filed a lawsuit April 27 against Acoyar Callis of New Orleans in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.
According to the complaint, the defendant executed a promissory note for the balance of $31,511,87 for a Chevrolet Camero. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the full balance owed and is still indebted for $15,348.47 plus interest.
The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jules A. Fontana III of Fontana & Fontana LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
